There are so many things wrong with being informed that one tastes like jasmine tea, but I would have to say the worst is the comments about steeping I got when trying to relax in the sauna after a vigorous yoga session. Also, if one more person cracks a joke about drinking me up I might just snap and hurt someone.

Mind you, the unwanted licking isn't helping either. Honestly, it stopped being amusing after the first five times.

In other news, the Spa is currently offering all amenities and services to members of the Guard and the Watch for half off. We can only hope it helps to keep those hardworking men and women refreshed and relaxed.

I would like to make one thing explicitly clear - The Spa Serenity is not a brothel. There is nobody there offering any sort of 'adult favors' both on or off the clock. If anyone comes into the Spa seeking something you would find at a brothel please do not be surprised if either myself or one of my employees escorts you from the premises and you find yourself barred from any future appearances.

Please do know that whoever is behind these ridiculous accusations they are not only unfounded, but if they are based on the knowledge of the life I had before coming here then you obviously did not pay attention if and when I explained any of that. Feel free to continue with your fun, just know that it will not get you anywhere with myself or my employees.

Apple, do you have any dogs at your animal shelter that might be able to be trained for guarding purposes?

I've noticed unicorns around, some even here around the Spa. They don't seem to like me, although I've been doing what I can to create a welcoming environment for them. I can only hope they don't injure anyone too badly, when dealing with those they find unpleasant.

My first round of classes seems to have not gone as well as I would have liked, however I think I've figured out where the problems were. Perhaps in the future I'll offer classes to small groups, and go from there. If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate hearing them.

One of my boarders has acquired a cat, and it's making me wonder if I should find a pet of my own. Any suggestions?

It's certainly odd when you experience a dream belonging to someone else, although in a way sharing such experiences can have the added bonus of bringing people closer. While I won't speak of the things I've seen with anyone except those who originally experienced them, I do feel slightly more educated for seeing them.

The rooms I had been offering previously are filled, I'm pleased to have something of a full house again. I feel as though I'm used to being surrounded by people where I live, so this is the start of a good time for me.

I apologize for not being around for a bit, I needed to take some time for myself. The spa will be open again this weekend, and we will be offering the first in a series of classes on meditation. I do hope we get a nice turn-out, I'll be pleased to assist any who are in need of some mental balancing.

For those of you who are new, I have heard Temporary Housing is over-run. If anyone needs a place to stay the spa has three extra rooms that can be used for the time being. Please let me know if you are interested, and I'll take it on a case-by-case basis. Just ask for Inara, and I'd be happy to meet with you.

It's been interesting getting used to the spa's new location on Wellspring Island, I do like being so close to the Medical center on the off-chance that some of the techniques we use at the spa might be helpful for someone's healing.

So many new people... I'm Inara, though some know me as Companion, and I run the spa known as Serenity on Wellspring Island. I do hope that everyone finds themselves acclimating well.

I've discovered an incredibly talkative squirrel hanging around me. She seems to enjoy playing with my hair, and tinkering with any machine-like things I wander by. I'm hoping she tires herself out soon, she's quite the chatterbox.

She does remind me of someone though, oddly enough.

To everyone who might have noticed my lacking presence, I have returned. I did not survive the fire, although I do thank you Wolverine. Your attempts to convince me not to assist you, and then your quick actions when the fire got worse probably minimized any pain I may have suffered. I do hope you fared better than I did.

One good thing did come out of this... a new insight.

This place can be quite confusing sometimes, and it is in these moments when nothing seems to make sense that a calm center is everything.
